Two Chadron High seniors announced their intentions to participate in collegiate athletics Wednesday as Vrasai Sayaloune and Layne Davidson announced their plans to compete for Chadron State College.
Sayaloune will be taking part in track and field for the Eagles after a high school career that included playing volleyball and participating in track and field for Chadron High.
Davidson will be wrestling after making a deep run in the state wrestling tournament this past winter.
Davidson and Saylounne become the ninth and 10th Chadron High seniors to announce their intentions to compete in intercollegiate athletics. Sayaloune is the seventh female student athlete to commit to the next level for athletics, Davidson the third male. Sayaloune and Davidson become the second and third student athletes to announce their plans to compete for Chadron State College joining Elaina Strong who will be cheering for the Eagles.
