Two Local Residents Among The Titlists At Miss Alliance And Miss Alliance’s Teen Pageant

     Hemingford women claimed 2 of the titles awarded at the Miss Alliance and Miss Alliance’s Teen Pageant Saturday night in Alliance. 

    Riley Wright, daughter of Bridget Raben and Mick Wright, was crowned Miss Panhandle while Madi Meek, daughter of Jennifer and Brett Cullan, is the new Miss Alliance’s Teen. 

      The Miss winners were Miss Alliance Katelyn Bowers, daughter of Melissa and Derrald Bowers of North Platte, and Miss Niobrara River Olivia Terwey, daughter of Trevor and Abby Terwey of Hastings.

The other Teen titlist was Miss Panhandle’s Teen Ella-Katheryn Anderson, daughter of Mark and Irene Anderson of Scottsbluff. 

     Desteny Miller, daughter of Cherry Wulf of Arapahoe, was 1st runner-up for the 3 Miss titles

       The new titleholders now advance to the Miss Nebraska and Miss Nebraska’s Teen competitions in North Platte next June

       Several other awards were also presented at the Pageant.

At the Miss level,  Miss Alliance Katelyn Bowers was 1st in the optional community service competition, Hope Hatcher, daughter of Heather Hatcher of Gering, was the Audience Choice winner, and Hannah Henton, daughter of Kris and Tom O’Brien and Jason Henton of Kimball, was Miss Congeniality.

      Miss Alliance’s Teen Madi Meek was voted Miss Congeniality by the other Teen contestants while Miss Panhandle’s Teen Ella-Kathryn Anderson took that Audience Choice Award.
