Two People Dead After Early Monday morning Accident

Two people have died following a two vehicle accident near Bridgewater, South Dakota early Monday morning.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol said in a release that their preliminary information indicates that 53 year old Derrick Brosseau of South Carolina, the driver of a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling westbound on Interstate 90 roughly five miles southeast of Bridgewater. At approximately 1:21 am a 2016 Volvo semi-truck driven by 30 year old Zarifjon Korakulov of Brooklyn, New York was traveling westbound and collided with the back of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle. 

Brousseau and his passenger, 47 year Deeann Dyer of Lewiston, Maine suffered fatal injuries, neither were wearing their helmets. Korakulov was not injured.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is continuing their investigation into the crash, all information released so far is only preliminary.
