The City of Crawford Water Department & mayor are now allowing regular indoor household water usage, water needed for commercial operations, and watering of gardens but are ordering that all residents and businesses not resume watering lawns or washing vehicles until further notice due to the maintenance booster pump failure at the Crawford water plant.
Wednesday reports showed that the pumps were on the ground in Fresno, California and as of 7:30 this (Friday) morning they were in Rock Springs, New Mexico. The freight company has given no indication that there will be delays due to other product delivery. The pumps are expected to arrive in under a weeks’ time.
The City of Crawford would like to thank all citizens for their understanding and water conservation efforts.
