Burial is at the Eagle Elk Family Cemetery in Kyle
A one-night wake service starts Wed, August 3, at 6:00 at the Victoria Eagle Elk residence
Victoria Katie Eagle Elk was born on June 7, 1945 in Pine Ridge, SD to Thomas Sitting Bear and Alice Bear Robe. Victoria made her journey to the Spirit World on July 27, 2022 at the Monument Health Home Plus Hospice in Rapid City, SD.
Victoria is survived by her children Jesse Eagle Elk Sr of Denver, CO, Diana Eagle Elk, Christopher Eagle Elk, and Cheyenne Eagle Elk all of Kyle, SD; and all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, & nephews.
Victoria was preceded in death by her husband, Minorvine Joseph Eagle Elk; parents Thomas Sitting Bear and Alice Bear Robe; daughter, Corrina Eagle Elk; brothers, Eugene Sitting Bear, Ross Sitting Bear, Vern Sitting Bear, Benedict Sitting Bear, Aloysius Sitting Bear, Chris Sitting Bear, and Andrew Sitting Bear; sister, Cecelia Sitting Bear and Mary Sitting Bear; grandchildren, Tylene One Horn, Ralph & William One Horn; and great-grandson, Minorvine Victor One Horn.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Little Bull, David Little Bull, Mark Roy, Ethyn Kaboni, Jacy Kaboni, Joseph Roan Eagle, Delbert Black Bear, Sione “John” Maea, and Jeff Little Dog.
