Funeral services for 21-year old Vincent “Jug” Mesteth IV are Tues, Dec 14, 2021 at 11:00 at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD, with traditional Lakota services by Mr David Kelly with the Chimney Butte Singers as the drum group.
Burial is at the Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City.
Visitation is Monday, Dec 13, from 11:00-9:00, also at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD.
Vincent Dewey “Jug” Mesteth IV was born on January 17, 2000 in Rapid City, SD to Vincent Mesteth III and Sherry Mousseaux. Vincent made his journey to the Spirit World on December 5, 2021 in Rapid City, SD.
Vincent is survived by his mother, Sherry Mousseaux; father-figure, Ray Ramirez; siblings, Joseph, John, Cruz, & Uriah Mousseaux, Ricky, Sonja, Rachelle, Tannis, & Raymond Ramirez, and Latoya and Thomas Mesteth; grandparents, Alberta Clincher and Fred Mousseaux, Sr.; aunt, Cheryl Mousseaux; uncles, Fred Mousseaux, Jr. and Dusty & Shawn Mousseaux; 2 nieces; and 2 nephews.
Vincent was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Mesteth III; aunt, Carla Evans; uncle, John Clincher and Glenn Evans; grandparents, Susan Cross, Vincent “Mush” Mesteth II, and Phyliss Two Bulls.
Pallbearers will be Ty Ward, Austin Whitlock, Trey LaCuren, Louis Clifford, Casper Evans, Tannis Ramirez, Ricky Ramirez, Wambli Rooks, Kelly Cardiel, and Uriah Mousseaux.
