Funeral services for 94-year old Virginia “Jean” Easton of Gordon, NE, are Wed Feb 15, 2023 at 2:0 at Chamberlain-Pier Chapel in Gordon.
Burial to follow in the Gordon Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tues Feb 14, from 3-to-5:00 pm, also at Chamberlain-Pier.

Virginia “Jean” Easton was born June 28, 1928, in Leslie, MI, and was called from this life on February 8, 2023.
As a newborn infant, Virginia was left on a neighbor’s doorstep because her mother was unable to take care of her.
When just a year old, she was adopted by a family who then moved to California, where she attended school.
When she was 11 years old, the family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where Virginia finished the 11th grade.
On August 1, 1959, she married Ernest Clifford Easton. To this union was added two sons: Alan and Michael.
In 1978, the family moved to Gordon where Virginia was a member of RSVP for several years as well as a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post #34.
Virginia was a very caring person. She cared for her ailing husband for many years until his passing, and she thought of others in the community all the time.
She leaves us to be mourned by many friends and family.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband of 33 years Ernest, son Alan Easton, and two infant daughters.
Survivors include daughter-in-law Kathy Easton of Gordon; son Michael Easton of California; grandchildren Kristina Easton of Gordon and Bryan Easton of Lincoln, NE; great-grandchildren Audrey, Dasyn and Xaley Easton of Lincoln; Kristle Easton of California; and Beverly Easton of Ohio; and great-great-grandchild Barrick Easton of Ohio.
