Funeral Services for 72-year old Wayne Otter Man are Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 1:00 CT at the Veterans Building in Rosebud, SD, with Father Jim Lafontaine, S.J., officiating.

Burial is at the Holy Innocents Catholic Cemetery in Parmelee, SD

A one-night wake service starts Monday, Nov 29, at 1:00 CT, also at the Veterans Building in Rosebud, SD

Wayne Allen Otter Man was born on March 10, 1949 in Rosebud, SD to Melvin Otter Man and Vera (Whipple) White Lance.  Wayne made his journey to the Spirit World on November 18, 2021 at his home in Parmelee, SD.

Wayne is survived by his daughter, Ellen Otter Man; sister, Carol (Lonnie) Two Eagle; brothers, Titus White Lance, Jr. and Tyrone White Lance, Sr.; nieces & nephews, Lonna (Jermain) Browning, Leona (Daryl) Reed, Skyla (Evans) Fast Horse, Lowen Two Eagle & Family, Lowney (Tisha) Two Eagle & Family, and Cleone Two Eagle & Family; and numerous grandchildren.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Otter Man and Vera (Whipple) White Lance; paternal grandparents, James Otter Man and Elizabeth One Feather; maternal grandparents, John Whipple, II and Leona Big Horse; and son, Lonnie Running Bear, Sr.

Pallbearers will be Mervyn Hairy Shirt, Sr., Harlan Good Shield, Lowen Two Eagle, Lionel White Lance, Daryl Reed, Lowell Two Eagle, Jason Good Shield, Jr., and Gabriel Good Shield.

Honorary pallbearers will be Commodity Office Staff, Titus “Gib” White Lance, Tyrone “Nick” White Lance, Jr., RST Ambulance Service, Gibby & Sarah Dillon, Florine Burning Breast, Officer Jim Scott, Ira High Pipe, Tony White Lance, John Red Bird, Sr., Roy Stone & Family, Sandra Spotted Tail & Family, Lance Neck, Sr., Whipple Family, Chops Thin Elk, Sundancers-Philip Stone, Black Bull Family, At The Straight Family, Chuck Floyd & Family, and All Friends & Relatives.
