In a press release sent Wednesday morning, Western Community Health Resources (WCHR) announced a grant from Black Hills Energy for their Community Essentials Pantries in Chadron and Alliance.
“Western Community Health Resources is pleased to announce the receipt of $500.00 from Black Hills Energy to go toward our Community Essentials Pantry,” the release stated.
WCHR explained that the pantries provide personal hygiene products and cleaning products to people in need.
“Last year the Community Essentials Pantry helped over 600 individuals,” the statement continued, showcasing just how much of an impact these resources can have.
WCHR concluded by thanking Black Hills Energy with a twist on their own motto: “Thank you, Black Hills Energy, for helping us do more together.”
