Weather Causes Shuffle To Postseason Schedules In Neb. & SD (Updated: 11:55 am)

Loading

Winter weather wins again and continues to cause a shuffle amongst postseason tournament games.

Hay Springs and Crawford were set to meet in the D2-12 championship tonight, but that game has been pushed to Friday at 6:30 in Hay Springs.

Gordon-Rushville will still entertain Kimball in the C2-12 final tonight in Gordon.  Tip off is at 6:00 pm.

Other games happening include Ogallala facing Sidney in the C1-12 championship and Leyton meeting Bridgeport in the D1-12 final.

The Twin City rivalry moves to the postseason when Scottsbluff and Gering meet for the boys B-8 championship tonight.

The Class B girls district finals pairings were released on Wednesday and three Western Conference teams have a shot at the state tournament.

#3 Sidney will host #14 Alliance on Saturday while #5 Scottsbluff welcomes #12 South Sioux City.

We will have district finals coverage on Friday on FM 107.7 KBPY as #10 Hay Springs girls plays #7 Wilcox-Hildreth in the D2-7 final in Ogallala at 5:00 pm MT.

#7 Gordon-Rushville girls meets #10 Clarkson/Leigh in the C2-7 final, also on Friday in Ainsworth.  The game time has been moved up to 4:00 pm MT to avoid a conflict with the rescheduled D1-6 sub-district boys final.

Winter weather pushed the start of the South Dakota girls regional tournaments to tonight. Hot Springs opens up at Belle Fourche in the A8 tourney. Tipoff is set for 6:00 pm.

Custer will host Hill City and Rapid City Christian entertains Lead-Deadwood. St. Thomas More gets the Custer/Hill City winner on Friday.

The RCC/Lead-Deadwood winner faces either Hot Springs or Belle Fourche on Saturday. In the B7 bracket Oelrichs is at Wall at 6:00 pm and Edgemont travels to White River at 7:00 pm.
