The South Dakota Highway Patrol says a 30-year old woman was killed Wednesday night when her SUV crashed on Hwy 385/79/18 southeast of Hot Springs.
Release of her name is pending notification of family.
The Highway Patrol says the woman was northbound just before 9:00 pm about 2-miles south of Maverick Junction when her SUV left the roadway, entered the median and rolled.
The 30-year old female driver, who was alone, was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle. She was taken by ambulance to the Fall River Health Services hospital in Hot Springs, where she later died.
Truly a sad day for her family. Prayers for them all
