Winter weather accompanied by high winds has thrown Thursday’s basketball schedule into a whirlwind.
Chadron’s games at home with Bayard have been postponed and will be a split decision. The girls game will not be made up and the boys game will most likely be rescheduled for sometime next week according to CHS AD Rick Barry.
Both teams will be in action on Friday at Sidney.
Crawford AD John Lemmon say the Crawford/Hay Springs games have been pushed to Saturday in Crawford with the varsity girls starting after two quarters of JV boys action at 3:30 pm.
Gordon-Rushville has called off their games with Bridgeport and Mustang AD Casey Slama says there are no intentions of rescheduling.
Sioux County AD Barry Swisher says that as of 11:00 am, tonight’s boys game at Guernsey-Sunrise is still on as scheduled.
