Weather permitting, work will begin July 29 on the main entrance to the Bridgeport Recreation Area, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Simon Contractors, Inc. of Scottsbluff is the prime contractor for this project. Work includes patching cracks in the roadway and a 1-inch mill and asphalt overlay. Traffic will be maintained with daytime lane closures and flaggers. Anticipated completion is two weeks.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
