Yvonne Joy Crow was born on May 21, 1952 in Oglala, SD at home to Pugh and Etta (Black Horse) Youngman. Yvonne made her journey to the Spirit World on November 24, 2024 at the Pine Ridge I.H.S. Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.
While in High School, Yvonne won the Betty Crocker Award for Home Economics for her sewing. Her favorite past times were cruising around the horn with her weekend warriorettes, Brenda and Kaye and sometimes others. Yvonne loved rodeos, parades, and pow-wows. She liked seeing the Crazy Horse Riders and the Cheyenne Breakout Runners. She also loved skeet shooting and hunting with her nephew, Evans Jr., along with her sisters, Brenda & Kaye as spotters. Yvonne loved music and dancing and most of all, she really loved having great times with family and her many friends.
Yvonne is survived by her children, Tammy (Brian Starr) Crow, Carleen Crow, David (Lynette) Crow, Harold (Robin) Crow, Jr., Genevieve Crow, and Robyn Crow; sister, Brenda Youngman; brother, Donovan Youngman; grandchildren, Morgan Starr, Kayla Starr, Jeremy Crow, Erika Crow, Jarren Crow, Dalton Crow, Chantelle Roan Eagle, Adriano Roan Eagle, Dominic Roan Eagle, Jr., Lacey Roan Eagle, Brannon Cousin, Jacob Cousin, and Jaedyn Crow; great grandchildren, Tokahe Win, Maisie Crow, Marco Crow, Journi Fast Horse, Kamari Fast Horse, and Novi Starr; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, Pugh and Etta (Black Horse) Youngman; spouse, Harold Crow, Sr.; brothers, Wendell Youngman, Sr., Wilmer Youngman, Sr., Evans Youngman, Sr., and Harold Youngman; maternal grandparents, Emma Gillespie and William Black Horse; paternal grandparents, Naomi Spotted Horse and Amos Youngman Afraid of His Horses; grandsons, Wesley Pourier and Marco Starr; and her beloved animals, Cocoa & Brunette.
Pallbearers will be Dalton Crow, Jaedyn Crow, Brannon Cousin, Adriano Roan Eagle, Jarren Crow, Ryan Two Lance, Tyriese Two Lance, and Adriano Brings Him Back.
