$2-M Bail Set For Man Charged With Killing His Children

An Omaha-area man charged with killing his 2 young children earlier this month, then fleeing to California, has made his first court appearance back in Nebraska.

36-year old Adam Price of Bellevue had been arrested near San Francisco 2 days after 5-year old Emily and 3-year old Theodore Price died and about 10 hours after their bodies were discovered in his home.

After waiving extradition, he arrived in Omaha Thursday and on Friday was in court where the judge set bail at $2.5-million dollars on 2 counts of negligent child abuse resulting in death.

The children were with Price for a court-ordered visitation when they were found dead May 16 by a friend of their mother, who lives in Illinois.

She had asked the friend to check on them because they hadn’t called her – a visitation requirement. Authorities have not yet said how the children died.
