A Nebraska company says a ransomware attack disrupted several of its trade industry and auction websites.
Lincoln-based Sandhills Global told its customers Sunday that it had shut down several systems temporarily to protect data after its operations were disrupted by the ransomware attack.
Publications operated by Sandhills that were not available online Sunday include Truck Paper, TractorHouse, AuctionTime, Machinery Trader, ForestryTrader, HiBid, RentalYard, Motorsports Universe, and Aircraft.com.
The company says it hired cybersecurity experts to help respond to the attack, and that it’s continuing to investigate whether any client data had been accessed
