A two-year hiatus because of the COVID pandemic didn’t hurt the popularity of the annual Fort Robinson State Park Historical Christmas Dinner and may actually have helped it.
Tickets for the December 3rd dinner at the military post-turned- state park went on sale Monday morning at 8:00 and all had sold out in just over half an hour.
It took just 10 minutes at D&S Market in Harrison, 11 minutes at the Chadron Chamber of Commerce, and 31 minutes at the park office – which had the most tickets available.
The Fort Robinson Dinner uses an actual menu from a Christmas dinner served there some time during its 7 decades as an active military post. This year, it’s 1922.
