      The Chadron High School girls couldn’t match the size, quickness, or defensive intensity of Lakota Tech Thursday night and lost at home 57-37.
The Cards led just once at 4-3 and were down just 10-6 after the 1st period and 25-15 at the half, but Tech opened the 2nd half on a 16-4 run and never looked back.Â
     Chadron scored nearly half its points at the foul line, sinking 18 of 36 tries. Demi Ferguson scored the Cards’ first 4 points, but got only 3 the rest of the way. Taegan Bach had a team-high 8 points.
       Tech’s depth showed as they had 4 players on the bench with 4 fouls each much of the 2nd half and still dominated play. Jodene Hunter and Tawny Rodriguez each had 15 for Lakota Tech.
