Dennis Dale Bordeaux was born on July 13, 1959 in Pine Ridge, SD to Lester and Lavonne (Goings) Bordeaux. Dennis made his journey to the Spirit World on February 4, 2023 in Pine Ridge, SD.
Dennis was raised by his grandparents, Hazel and Raggy Bill. Dennis was fond of his pets and had his favorite companion, his dog Coco, by him at the time of his passing.
In his early days, Dennis loved going to Cheyenne Frontier Days. He also loved to exercise and enjoyed his soft drinks and candy bars. Upon the death of his grandparents, Dennis was then cared for until his own death by his Auntie Gloria, Uncle Marty, and cousin Choke.
Dennis was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
Dennis is survived by his sisters Linda (Phil) Yellow Boy and Valerie Bordeaux; brothers Mike Bordeaux, Jerry Bordeaux, John Bordeaux, and Louis Bordeaux; uncle Marty Grass; aunts Lois Bordeaux and Gloria Goings; favorite cousin Choke; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousin, and relatives.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Lavonne Bordeaux; grandparents William “Raggy Bill” and Hazel Goings; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousin.
Pallbearers will be Mike Bordeaux, Fernando White Butterfly, Chipper Goings, Frank Goings Jr, Dave Rabbit, and Donald “Ducky” Standing Soldier.
Honorary pallbearers will be the extended Bordeaux and Goings Families, Louise White Butterfly & Family, Bonnie Returns & Family, Bamm Thunder Horse & Family, Charlotte White Whirlwind, Herman White Whirlwind, Louie, Elizabeth, Manuel, & Kevin Ramos, Butch Running Hawk, Joyce Goings, Marlis Rabbit, Sean Good Crow, Sally Goings, Daus Rabbit, Leanna Rabbit, Melanie “Midge” Talbert, Tapio Family, Long Family, Janis Family, Siers Family, Nelson Family, and all Friends & Relatives.
