New Fort Robinson Post Playhouse Producing Artistic Director Andy Meyers has picked the professional cast for this summer’s season and is now looking for local actors to fill out the company.
     Local auditions for men, women, and children are being held in Chadron next Friday, March 17, at 5:00 in the Black Box Theater on the second floor of Memorial Hall at Chadron State College
Meyers will be casting roles in two shows – Leader of the Pack and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
He says each hopeful actor needs to have a 1-minute song with sheet music in their chosen key for the accompanist who will be provided. Performers may also be asked to read from the script as well.
Most area residents will have their first chance to meet Andy Meyers the following day, March 18, at the annual Post Playhouse fundraiser at the Fort Robinson Buffalo Soldiers Barracks. There are still a few of the 400 tickets for the event available.
