     The Nebraska Cornhuskers held their first practice of fall football camp Monday with new head coach Matt Rhule allowing the media to watch the first part of practice.
        Overshadowing practice was the announcement that safety Myles Farmer, last year’s #2 tackler, was suspended from the team at the end of the summer.
Rhule told reporters Farmer failed to adhere to team standards, but gave no specifics.
A fifth-year senior, Farmer started 11 games last fall, but was suspended for Nebraska’s November loss to Michigan after being pulled over for drunk driving. As to Farmer’s returning, Ruhle told reporters “the ball is in his court.”
       Ruhle also said DL Brodie Tagaloa, expected to be in the rotation, is out for the season as he recovers at home from an injury suffered in a recent car accident.
       WR Marcus Washington is expected to begin practicing next week after breaking a bone in his hand this summer, but another WR, Baylor transfer Josh Fleeks, was sent home after not making weight to start camp. His status is also unclear
