Burial is at Holy Cross Episcopal Cemetery in Pine Ridge.

Waverly Jean Buckman was born on June 16, 1964 in Denver, CO to Wilbur Buckman and Maxine Knife. Waverly made her journey to the Spirit World on September 5, 2023 at the Denver Health Medical Center in Denver, CO.
Waverly is survived by her favorite daughter, Marie Roubideaux, and other daughters, Lynette and Loretta Roubideaux; son, Isaac Roubideaux; grandchildren, Larain Roubideaux, Jada Roubideaux (and her father, Charles Janis), Rachael Roubideaux, Chelbi James Annora Roubideaux, Alfernado Hunter, and Kamiah Jean Roubideaux; great grandchildren, Jericho John Roubideaux, Jayla G, Christopher John Roubideaux, and Betty Rain Lynn Janis; cousins, Venus Rodriguez and Louie Janis; nephew, Noah Luta Janis; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and Hunka Grandkids.
Waverly is resting eternally with her mother, Maxine Knife; father, Wilbur C. Buckman; sister, Ginger Buckman; daughter, Rebecca Roubideaux; granddaughter, Christina Roubideaux; cousin, Tyrel Ringing Shield; and numerous extended relatives.
Pallbearers will be Vern Roubideaux, Meghan White Pipe, Guy Lambert, Jr., Garrett Little Bear, Sr., Moses Catches, Frank Janis, and Venus Rodriguez.
