Chadron held Mitchell scoreless in the 4th quarter en route to a 47-27 win the semifinals of the boys C1-12 subdistrict in Sidney, giving the Cards a 3-0 season sweep
The game was close into the 2nd quarter, but a 12-1 run midway through the period gave Chadron a little breathing room. They led 28-20 at the half and 39-27 heading into the 4th quarter – which they dominated 12-0.
   Fouls and free throws weren’t a factor – Chadron was just 3-4 on the night with Mitchell1-7.
Tyler Spotted Elk was the only Cardinal in double-digits as he scored 17, mostly inside. Thomas Smith was next with 9.
       Chadron now plays top-seeded Sidney for the C1-12 title tomorrow night at 6:00. The Raiders rolled past Alliance 72-46 in their semifinal. Chadron is 0-2 against Sidney this year, losing by 23 in the season opener but by just 6 two weeks ago
