Burial is at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Wounded Knee, SD.
A one-night wake service starts at 1:00 PM, Monday, April 8, at 1:00 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge with evening services at 6:00.

Marvin Albert Stoldt Sr was born on April 24, 1940 in Pine Ridge, SD to Frank Albert Stoldt and Belva Katherine Byrd. Marvin Sr made his journey to the Spirit World on March 26, 2024 in Pine Ridge, SD.
Marvin is survived by his children Frank (Nanette) Stoldt of Fargo, ND; Cameron Stoldt of Oglala; Candi (Mike) Stoldt-Johnson, Patti (Larry) Stoldt-Hill, April (Alvin DuBray) Stoldt, and Emily (Dallas) Stoldt, all of Pine Ridge; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Marvin was preceded in death by his wife Rita (Her Many Horses) Stoldt; children Richard Sidney, Marvin W Stoldt Jr, Charmaine Stoldt, and Ray Stoldt Sr; parents Frank and Belva (Byrd) Stoldt; sisters Sherry Lee Stoldt, Belva Stoldt, Mary Stoldt, Charmain Elaine (Stoldt) Lehmann, Violet Carol Stoldt, Twila Rae Stoldt (Brewer), Rosalie and Stoldt (Brewer); one brother Frank Earl Stoldt; granddaughters Trisha Stoldt ,Whitney Stoldt, Lila Stoldt and Kellie Stoldt; and uncle Sidney Byrd
