The Box Butte County Sheriff’s Office has arrested one man in connection with an investigation involving the sexual assault of a minor.
The Box Butte County Sheriff’s Office said in a release that they arrested Marlyn Wilcox on April 9 following a preliminary investigation conducted by the Box Butte County Sheriff’s Office with the Alliance Police Department assisting.
Wilcox is being held in the Box Butte County Jail on accusations of multiple charges including First Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, a Class 1B felony. The additional charges were withheld from the release in order to protect the identity and privacy of the victim and their family.
The investigation remains ongoing.
