Funeral services for 50-year old Angel Hernandez are Sat, Oct 29, 2022 at 10:00 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle, SD, with the Rev Michelle Dayton, Rev Cordelia Red Owl, and Lay Reader Annie Montileaux officiating.

Cremation will follow the services.

A two-night wake service starts Thurs, Oct 27, at 2:00 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle.

Angel Agnes Hernandez “Ta Oyate Wakanyan Ob Mani Win” (She walks in a sacred manner for her people) was born October 23, 1971 in Pine Ridge, SD to Geraldine Hernandez- Lujan.  Angel made her journey to the Spirit World on October 17, 2022 at Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Angel was preceded in death by her grandparents Agnes and Ambrose Hernandez; uncles Tony, Alvin, Steven “Babe”, and William “Bill” Hernandez; cousins Tony and Brenda Hernandez; and nephews Dalton Pumpkin Seed, Wade Hernandez, and Alvin Hernandez.

Pallbearers will be Martin, Cruz, Ashton, Zachary, Bradley, Chase, Tristan, Isaiah, Quade, Chico, Bear, Lucas, Dale, and Dylan.
