Private services will be held at a later date for 55-year old Anthony “Tony” Horse of Austin, Texas.
A memorial has been established in Tony’s Name with Friends of Pets, PO Box 524, Chadron, NE 69337 or a local animal shelter in your area.
Anthony Horse was born July 20, 1966, and passed away October 8, 2021, at St David South Hospital in Austin.
Tony grew up in Chadron and graduated from Chadron High School in 1984. He lived in Norfolk, NE, and Denver, CO ,for a short time. His son, Corbin, was born during this time.
Tony joined the Armed Services, but was injured in an accident while on the East Coast and was honorably discharged.
Tony moved to Austin in the mid 1990’s and went to work at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Austin. He continued to work at the Hyatt in the accounting office until COVID hit and the majority of the employees were furloughed.
He was very fond of the three little dogs he and Kirsten had adopted.
Tony was preceded in death by his father, Boog Horse and his mother, Mary Horse.
He is survived by Kirsten Rangel of Austin, his son Corbin Horse, granddaughter Hadley Jo Horse of Fort Collins, CO, and brother Randy (Rita) Horse of Chadron.
