Traditional Lakota services for 57-year old Antoine “Tony” Bordeaux Jr are Sunday, Nov 20, 2022 at 11:00. Leading the services will be Darla Black.
Viewing will precede and follow the services, running from 10:00 until noon.
Interment will be held at a later date
Antoine “Kill” Bordeaux Jr was born on January 29, 1965 in Pine Ridge, SD to Antoine Bordeaux Sr and Bernadette (Goings) Bordeaux. Antoine made his journey to the Spirit World on Nov 10, 2022 at the Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
Antoine grew up in Pine Ridge and attended school at the Oglala Community School (OCS). Antoine decided to attend Job Corps in Montana and upon completion returned back home to Pine Ridge.
Antoine later moved to Winner, SD where he loved to go for walks, read books, and talk to relatives on the telephone.
Antoine is survived by his sisters Carlene and Gaylene Bordeaux both of Rapid City, SD, and Sallie Goings of Pine Ridge, SD; brother Sylvester Bordeaux of Sioux Falls, SD, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Antoine was preceded in death by his mother Bernadette Bordeaux; father, Antoine Bordeaux Sr; sister Rochelle Bordeaux; brother Carl Bordeaux; paternal grandparents Clarence Bordeaux and Louise (Warden) Bordeaux; and maternal grandparents Roland “Scope” Goings and Rebecca (Cuny) Goings.
Pallbearers will be John Bordeaux, Mike Bordeaux, Jerry Bordeaux, Lyndon Brown, Donald Standing Soldier, and Marcus Bordeaux.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
