There was plenty of gold hardware brought home by area athletes at Tuesday’s Mitchell track invite.
Makinley Grover and Tyrah American Horse of Gordon-Rushville were double gold medalists. Grover took first in the girls shot put and discus. American Horse captured the 1600m and was a member of the winning 4x800m relay team.
Chadron swept the boys hurdles titles as Xander Provance won the 110’s and Malachi Swallow snuck out the 300’s.
Crawford’s Kylah Vogel won first in the 400m and Gordon-Rushville’s Haley Johnson won the 800m.
It would really be nice if you would print these athletes times.
