The Mitchell Invite Tuesday attracted boys golf teams from around the panhandle with Crawford, Hay Springs and Sioux County joining the fray at Scenic Knolls Golf Course.
The top golfer from the Highway 20 schools was Tripp Buettner from Hay Springs who fired an 89 to place 26th. Jaydub Turman was the next one on the results as the Hay Springs sophomore posted a 93 to place 31st. Ty Anders was the first Crawford golfer as the senior fired a 94 to get 33rd. Heidyn Johnson slotted at 43rd as the Hay Springs senior shot a 99. Cash Anders from Crawford wrote down a 103 to slot 48th on the leaderboard. Riley Johnson from Hay Springs got 51st with a 106. The two Sioux County Warrior golfers in attendance saw Baxter Reece post a 111 to finish 58th and Jhett Skavdahl with a 115 to finish 60th.Dalton Norman from Crawford shot a 119.
Other golfers from the area included Crawford Kadon Deaver with a 123 and Tehgan Prosser with a 127. Hay Springs had Larry Nelson with a 152 on the lineup. Sioux County had Taylor Kreman with a 162 and Jose Guiterrez with a 176.
Team wise Hay Springs finished in 7th with a 387, just 19 shots off 6th place Chadron. Crawford was down in 13th with a 439 and Sioux County took 16th with a 564.
