Bond has been set at $100,000 cash for one of 5 people taken into custody for a double homicide last month at a Rapid City apartment.
       20-year-old Chase Quick Bear appeared in Pennington County Court on Thursday and remains in the Pennington County Jail awaiting his next hearing.
. Quick Bear is charged with conspiracy to commit 1st-degree murder in the deaths of 29-year-old Joseph Standing Bear and 37-year-old Petan Milk.
Standing Bear and Milk were found shot to death August 20th in what authorities have said appears to be a gang-related incident.
Quick Bear was arrested about a week later on the Rosebud Reservation by Rosebud Sioux Tribe police.
Also in custody in connection to the murders are Rochelle Janis, Robert Yellow Bird, Benita Cisneros, and Erin Provancial. No formal charges have been filed yet against any of them.
