The Oglala Sioux Tribal Administration Office was evacuated for a short time Tuesday afternoon.
According to a Facebook post by the Oglala Sioux Tribe Department of Public safety at about 1:30 Tuesday afternoon the Oglala Sioux Tribe Dispatch received a call from a male claiming to have placed a bomb at the OST Tribal Administration Office.
Officers were dispatched to the scene and evacuated employees along with traffic being re-routed from the area of the tribal office. K-9’s were deployed in the building. Officers conducted a security sweep and determined that the threat was not credible.
The caller was located in another community by officers and arrested without incident.
