Shortly before 1 o’clock Monday afternoon, WildCAD (a computer-aided dispatch service) reported a small fire south of Highway 20 between Chadron and Hay Springs via Watch Duty fire map.
Little information about the Pre Cinco Fire has been released. The three acre fire is near the Bordeaux Wildlife Management Area, roughly eight miles east of Chadron.
Containment numbers have not yet been released. Response numbers are currently unknown. This is a developing situation with more reports expected.
