A one-night wake services will start Wed, May 1, at 4:00 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle, SD, with evening services at 6:00.
Brian Joseph Gibbons was born on Nov 9, 1976 in Pine Ridge, SD to Ivan Gibbons and Geraldine (Yellow Wolf) LeBeau. Brian made his journey to the Spirit World on April 22, 2024 at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
Brian is survived by his mother Geraldine LeBeau; daughters Whisper Rose Gibbons and Serenity Gibbons; son Koyai Young; his twin brother Bryce Gibbons; brothers Jeremy Yellow Wolf, Howard Perry Jr and Ivan Gibbons Jr; and sisters Lisa Yellow Wolf, Lavonne Gibbons, Billie Jean Gibbons, Latasha Gibbons and Kimberly Gibbons; aunts Pearl Anderson and Eunice Yellow Wolf; uncle Leonard Yellow Wolf; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Brian was preceded in death by his father Ivan Gibbons; brother Mitchell Yellow Wolf; maternal grandparents Joseph Yellow Wolf and Mary (Red Elk) Yellow Wolf; paternal grandparents Charlie Gibbons and Alvina Red Star; aunts Mercy Kills Straight and Melda Yellow Wolf; and uncles Delbert Yellow Wolf and Hobart Yellow Wolf.
