Funeral services for 44-year old Candace Renae Wagner are Tues, April 19, 2022 at 10:00 at Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD, with Pastor Stanley Hollow Horn officiating.
Burial follows at 2:00 at the Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City, SD.
A one-night wake service starts Monday, April 18, at noon at Brother Rene Hall in Oglala.
Candace Renae Wagner was born on April 7, 1978 in Pine Ridge, SD to Kenneth Wagner and Chryil Wounded Head. Candace made her journey to the Spirit World on April 11, 2022 at the IHS Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.
Candace was a loving, caring, kind, and generous person. She was always willing to help where she could and give what she could to help whoever was in need. She had a huge heart for family, friends and pets.
Candace is survived by her daughter, Shawnee Wagner; sons, Alan Wagner, Cody Winstead, and Michael Wagner; siblings, Myron Wagner, Roxanne Wagner, and Reed Stabnow; and grandchildren, Chyril Winstead and Lyric Wagner.
Candace was preceded in death by her mother, Chyril Wounded Head; father, Kenneth Wagner; brother, Leslie Skidmore; grandmother, Vivian (Amiotte) Wounded Head; grandfather, Felix Wounded Head; aunt, Brenda Bullman; and uncles, Darrell Wounded Head and Garrett Wounded Head.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Wagner, Nolan Wagner, Alan Wagner, Myron Wagner, Gaylon Kelly, Clifton Waters, and Larry Shoulders.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Family, Friends & Relatives.
