Funeral services for 51-year old Robert Joseph Watkins are Friday, April 22, 2022 at 2:00 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle, SD, with Johnny Wilson and Rodney Bad Hand officiating.
Burial is at St Barnabas Episcopal Cemetery in Kyle.
A two-night wake service starts Wed, April 20, at noon at the Mediator Episcopal Church in Kyle. The second night begins Thurs April 21 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Hall in Kyle.
Robert Joseph Watkins was born on February 3, 1971 in Pine Ridge, SD to Robert T. Watkins and Sterline Rooks. Robert made his journey to the Spirit World on April 8, 2022 in Slim Buttes, SD.
Robert is survived by his mother, Sterline Rooks; father, Thomas Watkins; daughters, Dianna Watkins and Annabelle Watkins; sons, James Watkins, Brandon Watkins, and Ryan Walks Out; and sister, Elizabeth Watkins.
Robert was preceded in death by his son; brother, Thomas James Watkins; grandparents, Lucille Elliot, Robert Lee Watkins, Joseph R. & Dorothy (Little Warrior) Rooks; aunt, Yvonne Loafer; uncles, Lorenzo Rooks, Floyd Watkins, and Donny Ray Watkins; and cousin, Scott Watkins.
Pallbearers will be Willard Clifford, Jr., Dean Two Crow, Morgan Weston, BJ Brings Him Back, Sam Bravo, Rob Rouillard, Jr., Andre Mills, and Steve Red Owl.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
