A Celebration of Life for 70-year old Carol Findlay-Ehrman of Castle Pines, Colo, will be held Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 11:00 at Morse Memorial United Methodist Church in Rushville, NE.

A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall of the church immediately following the services.

Inurnment will be at 2:00 in the Hay Springs Cemetery.

A memorial has been established and donations may be sent to the Douglas/Elbert County Task Force and the Denver Dumb Friends Buddy Center

Carol Jean Findlay-Ehrman was born June 4, 1951 in Alliance, NE, to Robert William Tonack and Dorrine Jean DeHaven. She passed away Friday, July 16, 2021, in Castle Pines.

Carol was married to and divorced from William Findlay and Steven Ehrman. She had 2 children, Sarah Quintana and Justin Findlay.

Carol was employed at Cobank as a loan officer prior to her retirement. 

Her hobbies included spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, pet sitting, crossword puzzles, and reading the newspaper.

Carol was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harley and Blanche DeHaven and William Tonack, and Mary (Art) Thomas; by her father, Robert Tonack and Mother Dorrine Liedman.

She is survived by her stepfather, Donald Liedman; her children, Sarah Quintana and Justin Findlay; siblings, Robert Tonack, Cathy (Ron ) Patch, Brian (Ellen) Tonack, Ruth Wathen, Dale Tonack; grandchildren, Jason Findlay, McKenna Quintana, Malia Quintana, Madden Quintana and Jake Findlay; nieces and nephews, Cameon Hanna, Aaron Patch, Michael Patch, Andrew Patch, Melissa-Ann Dailey and Ester Monroe, and by many other family and friends.

Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Chapel in Castle Rock, Colo, is in charge of arrangements for Carol Findlay-Ehrman.
