The Chadron High volleyball team took 5th at Saturday’s Western Conference volleyball tournament in Scottsbluff.
The Cardinals went 0-2 in pool play with a 25-14, 25-17 loss to Sidney and a 27-25, 25-19 defeat to Gering.
Chadron rebounded to take down Mitchell in the 5th place game 25-21, 25-20.
Sidney needed three sets to win the conference crown over Scottsbluff 18-25, 25-15, 25-18.
Chadron returns home on Tuesday night for their final home game, hosting Sidney at 6:00 pm.
