The Chadron High boys and girls basketball teams were swept at Sidney on Friday night.
The Chadron girls trailed by just three heading into the final 8 minutes, and then cut the deficit to one at 31-30 just moments into the 4th, but the Red Raiders would close the quarter out on an 11-4 run for the 42-34 win.
The Lady Cards turn their attention to the C1-12 sub-district tournament on Monday where they will face Ogallala in Bridgeport at 5:00 pm.
The Chadron boys played Sidney tight in the opening quarter, trailing 15-13 after one, but Sidney widened its lead to 13 by the end of the third and went on to a 72-60 win.
The Chadron boys are set to play Potter-Dix at home next Friday to close out the regular season, but a rescheduled game against Bayard is also likely this next week.
