Chadron Boys & Girls Sweep Own Track Invite

The Chadron boys and girls track teams dominated their own track meet on Friday afternoon.

Chadron got past Gordon-Rushville in both the boys and girls team races. The Cardinal boys winning 218.5-130 and the Cardinal girls getting the win, 140.5-89.

Chayton Bynes and Tatum Bailey made a clean sweep in all four of their events. Bynes took gold in the 4x100m relay, high jump, long jump, and triple jump. Bailey placed first in each the 200m, 100m hurdles, high jump, and long jump.

Xander Provance was gold medal short of matching Bynes and Bailey, capturing gold as a member of the 4x100m relay, 110m hurdles, and 200m. Carter Ryan crossed the finish line first in both the 800m and 1600m runs.

Rhett Cullers won the 300m hurdles, and the Chadron girls 4x800m relay took the title.

The Gordon-Rushville girls duo of Haley Johnson and McKinley Grover were double winners as Johnson won the 400m and 800m. Grover took home top honors in the shot put and discus. The Gordon-Rushville boys won both the 4x400m relay and the 4x800m relay and the Mustangs Ellis Livingston was the fastest in the 100m and Jace Freeseman had the fastest time in the 400m.
