The Chadron High boys golf team wrapped up the regular season Thursday as they ventured down to Crandall Creek Golf Course in Ogallala. The Cardinals had a great day, firing a 341 as a team with all golfers shooting under 100. But it was not good enough on a day where scoring was ripe as the top scorer for the Cardinals missed out on a medal by two shots.
Tobin Meyer and Brayden Linegar shot 80 on the day to lead the pack for the Cardinals. Carson Long was next on the finishing sheet for Chadron, posting an 89. Tyson Pourier had a solid day with a 92 and Mason Frye rounded out the lineup for Chadron with a 99.
As a team the Cardinals shot a 341 which placed them in eighth.
The Cardinals will return to Crandall Creek on Monday for the Class C-5 District Tournament.
