The Chadron City Council is set to meet on Monday in regular session for their first meeting of the month of June. An impactful agenda is set to greet the five members of the council as they will be discussing fireworks amongst other items.
The hot topic on the agenda is that the council is set to possibly approve some type of fireworks restrictions for the upcoming 4th of July holiday. The council is also set to approve the use of Highway 20 at the intersection of Highway 20 and Main Street for the Lions Club Parade during the 50th Fur Trade Days celebration on Saturday, July 11th.
Other items of note include approving special designated licenses, a Dawes County Volunteers Program update along with approving free swim day at the Chadron Area Aquatics and Wellness Center set for July 11th.

The council will meet on Monday, June 1st at the council chambers located at 234 Main Street in downtown Chadron with the meeting to start at 6pm.
