Quinn Bailey ran for three touchdowns and Broc Berry threw for two and the Chadron first team defense didn’t allow Alliance to cross midfield as the Cardinals ran away with a 42-6 homecoming victory in the home finale on Friday night.
Seth Gaswick got the party started with a game-opening 85-yard kickoff return for a touchdown before Bailey punched in back to back rushing scores to put the Cardinals up 21-0 early in the 2nd quarter.
Berry connected with Xander Provance and Gage Wild late in the first half on two touchdown passes and the rout was on with Chadron building a 35-0 halftime lead.
Bailey would cap off the Chadron score early in the 4th to put the Cards up 42-0 but Alliance would avoid the shutout on a Nick Wright rushing score with 3-minutes left.
Chadron improved to 5-3 and will head to McCook next Friday to close out the regular season.
