Chadron’s Trey Hendrickson was the lone Cardinal inside the top 10 of a packed field at the Sidney golf invite on Wednesday. Hendrickson fired a round of 85 to finish in tenth.
Broc Berry was just two strokes back with an 87, but ended in 17th. Gage Wild shot an 89 and Tobin Meyer carded a 95 to close out the Chadron scorecard. Chadron finished the day in 5th as a team going 68 over par.
Tommy Dredla of Scottsbluff shot an even par 72 to win the meet and clear the field by four strokes. The Bearcats also won the team title by 27 strokes over cross town rival Gering.
Chadron will travel to Mitchell next Tuesday.
