The Chadron High Boys Golf Team was in Gering at Monument Shadows Golf Course for the Gering Invite on Wednesday. The golfers were greeted with some of the coldest conditions of the season but that did not prevent a score of 86 from missing out on a medal.
The highest finisher for the Cardinals was senior Tobin Meyer who shot an 86, losing out on a scorecard playoff with four players for the final medal, ultimately finishing in 12th.
Brayden Linegar was the next Cardinal on the board with a 95 to finish in 25th, Mason Frye posted a 101 and Carson Long a 102 to finish in 31st and 32nd while Tyson Pourier shot a 116 to finish in 34th.
As a team the Cardinals came home in sixth with a score of 384.
