The Chadron Police Department has been busy this past weekend responding to an epidemic amount of thefts from vehicles. Many of the thefts appear to take place within the same two block radius between the 300 and 400 block of Bordeaux and Main Streets.
There is no information at this time as to whether any arrests have been made in relation to the alleged thefts. However, Police Chief Rick Hickstein would like to remind the public that this is a good time to remember to lock your vehicles and keep your valuables out of sight.
