Chadron Splits Duals With Ogallala

The Chadron boys and girls wrestling teams split with Ogallala on Friday in dual action.

The girls dual featured just three contested matches with the Cardinals winning each one. Taylee Williamson earned a 7-4 decision at 115-lbs. Brooklyn Hoffman got a pin at 120-lbs and Kenli Boeselager pinned her opponent at 145-lbs as Chadron defeated Ogallala 33-18.

Tayven Jenkins at 120-lbs, Zane Cullers at 160-lbs and Darion Dye at 285 all earned wins for the Chadron boys in the matches that were wrestled. Ogallala used four of their own wins, plus forfeits, to take the dual 42-23.

Both Chadron squads are at the Grand Island Northwest tournament on Saturday.
