Change To RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships Site

The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference has moved this weekend’s Outdoor Track Championships from Black Hills State to Colorado State-Pueblo because of expected bad weather in the Black Hills.

RMAC Commissioner Chris Graham says the league’s Athletic Administrators Council made the site change with the well-being of student-athletes at the forefront after lengthy discussions on the forecasted conditions in Spearfish this weekend.

Graham says the RMAC places great value on the rights of its schools to host events for their student-athletes and their communities, so the league thanks Black Hills State for offering to let the track championships be moved.

Although the meet will now be at the Thunderbowl in Pueblo, the schedule remains the same – running Friday through Sunday.  For more information regarding the meet, fans can visit the 2022 RMAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships page.
