A wake precedes and follows the funeral from noon-till-4:00, also at the Joyner Hall in Pine Ridge, SD.
Christopher Joel Mousseau “Little Leaf” was born on July 7, 1989 in St. Paul, MN to Allen Mousseau and Tamera (Thunder Horse) Means. Christopher made his journey to the Spirit World on October 13, 2021 at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
Christopher was raised in Denver, CO, the North side of Rapid City, SD and eventually resided in Sioux Falls, SD. He had a heart of gold and was the type of guy who would give you the shirt off his back if you asked him to.
Christopher met RaeAnna Charging Cloud, with whom he had four handsome boys: Lamonte, Daequanne, Dredan and baby Dovion Mousseau (whom our Father called home at the age of 7 months).
Chris loved his family and friends with his whole being. He was always joking, laughing, was a very good tattoo artist and loved listening to music. He had such a humble heart, always there to cheer you up. He will surely be missed by all who knew him.
Christopher is survived by his mother, Tamera (Anthony Varella) Means; father, Allen Mousseau; children, Lamonte Mousseau, Daquanne Charging Cloud, and Dreydan Charging Cloud; siblings, Crystal Mousseau, Pearl Mousseau, and Anthony Mousseau; grandparents, John & Pearl (Mousseau) Birdsbill, Alvin Long Soldier, Iris Poor Bear, and Richard Flying Horse; special friend, Karlie Mlalt Ornseth; and numerous aunts, uncles, grandparents, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Christopher was preceded in death by his son, Dovion Charging Cloud; great-grandparents, Robert & Ellen Mousseau; grandfather, Paul Thunder Horse; and uncles, Robert Mousseau, Anthony Mousseau, and Oliver Mousseau.
Pallbearers will be CJ High Pipe, Theo High Pipe, William “Reese” Mousseau, Lloyd Bissonette, David Birdsbill, Raeshawn Mousseau, Phillip Joseph, and Charles Belt.
