Burial is in the Johnson Memorial Presbyterian Cemetery in Wounded Knee
A one-night wake service starts Thursday, October 21, at 4:00, also at the Messiah Episcopal Church in Wounded Knee
Clarinda Hope Bear Eagle was born in Hot Springs, SD to Harlan Bear Eagle and Bonita (Bergen) Bear Eagle. Clarinda made her journey to the Spirit World on October 12, 2021 at the Bryan West Medical Center in Lincoln, NE.
Clarinda is survived by her son, Emilio Bear Eagle; and siblings, Stephanie Bear Eagle, Tamara Bear Eagle, Tiffany Bear Eagle, and Olowan Bear Eagle.
Clarinda was preceded in death by her parents, Harlan & Bonita Bear Eagle; grandmothers, Clarinda White Bull, Mary Jane Dobbins, and Fannie Carrie Featherman; grandfathers, Leugene Bear Eagle, Leonard White Bull, and Alan Strong; aunts, Mellissa Bear Eagle and Olivia Bear Eagle; and uncles, Elmer Bear Eagle, Orville Running Shield, Robert Dobbins, and Charles Dobbins.
Pallbearers will be Chaske Bear Eagle, Louis Bear Eagle, Marcus Bear Eagle, Tahtanka Bear Eagle, Olowan Bear Eagle, Darell Bear Eagle, Dustin Little Moon, and Haval Khalil.
